YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 408.45/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday, and this makes for an AMD 0.55 fall from Monday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 556.27 (up by AMD 1.01), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 12 (up by AMD 0.07), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 694.41 (down by AMD 1.54), the Central Bank of Armenia press service informed.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 17,258.92, AMD 271.15, and AMD 19,145.9, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 10,400,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 407.88/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 408.25/$1.
