STEPANAKERT. – In accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the OSCE Mission will conduct a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan

The monitoring will be held on Wednesday, in the northern direction of Talish village of NKR Martakert Region.

From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office’s field assistants Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria) and Jiri Aberle (Czech Republic), and Office staff member Peter Svedberg.

From the opposite side of the line of contact, the monitoring will be held by Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, and his field assistant Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine).

The NKR authorities have expressed their readiness to assist in conducting the monitoring and to ensure the security of the OSCE Mission members.
