Electric Networks of Armenia reduce level of energy loss from 12.4% to 11.2 %

YEREVAN. – Electric Networks of Armenia reduced the permitted level of energy loss from 12.4  to 11.2 percent.

The decision was made during the meeting of the Public Services Regulatory Commission on Tuesday.

An acceptable level of losses making 11.2% is set for the transmission of electricity to common  distribution networks. And for domestic consumption of electricity the permitted level of loss decreased from 2.55 to 2.26 percen.t The decision will come into force on August 1.
