YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 407.85/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday, and this makes for an AMD 0.57 rise from Monday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 558.51 (up by AMD 2.45), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.90 (down by AMD 0.09), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 699.10 (up by AMD 6.07), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 17,243.18, AMD 273.66, and AMD 19,406.77, respectively.

The NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, however, saw no foreign currency trading on Tuesday.
