YEREVAN. – The Rescue Service of Armenia received an emergency call on Sunday at 9:12pm.

Accordingly, an around 30-year-old man had fallen into Hrazdan River in capital city Yerevan, and rescuers were needed.   

A firefighting squad, a Crisis Management Center operative team, and a special rescue squad—with a frogman—were dispatched to the scene.    

It was found out that the missing person was Iranian citizen M. F., who was born in 1984.

At 11:55pm, the search and rescue ended without results. On Monday at 6:32am and 6:34am, the rescue squads headed back to the scene of the incident to resume the search for and rescue of the Iranian citizen.
