YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 407.55/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday, and this makes for an AMD 0.12 drop from Monday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 553.98 (down by AMD 2.83), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.89 (up by AMD 0.08), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 697.11 (down by AMD 1.60), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 17,204.29, AMD 274.51, and AMD 19,667.66, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 4,300,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 407.66/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 407.67/$1.
