YEREVAN. – The adversary has conducted a sabotage-intelligence activity. Moreover, the leadership of the adversary’s army also makes use—in this activity—criminal gangs that are familiar with this region.

Armenia Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan on Tuesday stated the aforesaid to a group of reporters, A1plus news agency reported.

In his words, the Azerbaijani saboteurs have committed a crime pursuant to Armenian law, and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (Artsakh) law enforcement have opened a criminal case on this matter.

“They will answer pursuant to the requirements of our laws and the international norms, alike,” the minister added.
As per Ohanyan, Azerbaijan has always attempted to be active and create tension in the frontlines. He stressed yet again that Armenians do not wish to be forced to enter into war for a second time.

“The first time they [Azerbaijan] imposed war on us, and the people of Artsakh came out [from that war] with honor, had success, [and] achieved triumph.

“Now, they [Azerbaijan] are attempting to influence—by way of [creating] tension—the [Karabakh] negotiation process by having unilateral success, unilateral concessions,” Seyran Ohanyan stressed.
