YEREVAN. – Lieutenant of the Nagorno-Karabakh Armed Forces Gor Grigoryan who was killed as a result by Azerbaijani act of sabotage was a native of Janfida village of Armenia's Armavir Region.
Gor was 24 when he graduated from Vazgen Sargsyan military institute. For 3.5 years Gor has been serving in the Armed Forces of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, the villagers told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
“Gor was not married, he had a brother and a sister who are university students. His mother is a teacher and father is a farmer. He was very smart, brilliant person, he loved his homeland,” head of the village Rafik Yeghiazaryan said.
President of Armenia signed a decree on August 2 to award Gor posthumously.
