STEPANAKERT. – President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received an Armenian official delegation comprising of MPs and the Cabinet members headed by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.

Issues related to economic cooperation between Artsakh and Armenia were discussed during the talks. Special attention was paid to the situation along the borderline.

The sides mentioned that Armenia and NKR support peaceful settlement of the Azerbaijani-Karabagh conflict, underlining at the same time that Armenia and Artsakh will jointly defend, if necessary, the independence and security of the two Armenian states, the honor and dignity of the Armenian nation.

Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan has left for Nagorno-Karabakh as well.

NKR NA Chairman Ashot Ghoulyan, Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan and other officials were present at the meeting.
