Servicemen from the Russian armed forces have traveled to China to take part in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries’ “Peace Mission 2014” anti-terrorism military exercises, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia. 

Five SCO countries (Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and China) will participate in the military drills.

A total of 7,000 soldiers from the SCO member countries will take part in the mission.
