YEREVAN. – The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has no military solution. The problem should be resolved through negotiations.

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said the aforementioned on the air of Armnews television, reflecting on Sunday’s meeting in Sochi, Russia, between the presidents of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan.  

“Therefore, we [Armenia] always agree to the meetings without any formalities.

“I don’t think it makes sense to talk about a new agreement, unless there are new provisions and an agreement is signed—based on new provisions—on the non-use of military force. Such matters are raised by the mediators and us, but we still don’t see Azerbaijan responding to it positively,” Sargsyan specifically noted.

The Armenian President added that they are holding the Nagorno-Karabakh peace talks based on the Kazan document, which the Azerbaijani president had refused to sign at the last minute.
