The House of Representatives—the lower house—of the National Assembly of Belarus on Thursday ratified the Treaty on Eurasian Economic Union (EaEU), the Banki.ru financial website reported.

On the same day, the Council of the Republic, which is the upper house of the Belarusian parliament, also will consider this document.

Subsequently, the agreement will be presented to the Belarus President for signature, and this will bring the Belarusian party’s validation procedure to an end.

As reported earlier, the Senate of Kazakhstan on Thursday passed the Law on Ratification of Eurasian Economic Union Treaty.

And on October 3, Russian President Vladimir Putin had signed the law ratifying the Treaty on Eurasian Economic Union.
