YEREVAN. – Serzh Sargsyan is known for his foreign policy initiatives that ended in failure, head of ANC faction Levon Zurabyan said during briefings in parliament.

He recalled that Sargsyan put forward two key foreign policy initiatives.

“The first is Armenia-Turkey protocols when Serzh Sargsyan sold Armenian Genocide recognition in exchange for the opening of border with Turkey. The second is European integration: negotiations with EU continued for three years, there were great expectations, and everything resulted in a shameful failure,” he added.
