“I can’t say that Yerevan is the most beautiful city in the world, but it has individual character and atmosphere,” the renowned Polish director Krzysztof Zanussi told the July 15 press conference in Yerevan.
He also noted that Armenian national character has been preserved in the architecture of the capital, especially in the center, unlike other Soviet states where Stalin’s period has left its mark. Zanussi said that Armenia’s capital reminded him of Jerusalem. The director stressed he liked people in Yerevan the most.
“Revisited” by Krzysztof Zanussi will be screened within the framework of the Golden Apricot film festival.
