YEREVAN. – All of Armenia’s interstate and national roads are open for traffic as of Thursday at 9:30am, reported the Ministry of Transport and Communication.

But there is black ice on some sections of the motorways in Aparan, Abovyan and Sevan cities, and the Martuni city section of the Vardenyats (Selim) Mountain Pass.

And there is snowfall in Jermuk, Goris and Meghri cities, and the Saravan Mountain Pass.

The road crews that are scattering salt and sand on the motorways to ensure safe travel.
