YEREVAN. – Emma Sargsyan, 77, fell from the fifth storey of a residential building in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan on Tuesday at around 1pm, and she died in hospital on the same day.

“Erebouni” Medical Center Intensive Care Unit Head Armen Muradyan told the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

And Sargsyan’s neighbors told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the elderly woman had made a rope from the linen and clothing in her home, tried to come down from the fifth story with it, but she had lost her balance and fallen.

According to the neighbors, Emma Sargsyan was living with her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.
