After the heated discussions on the expensive suit of a newly appointed leader of the Turkish Republican People’s Party, Turkish society proceeded to a more prominent personality-Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Everybody wonders where he had a suit from Pierre Cardin.
An MP from Republican People’s Party Sajyd Eldyz included the issue in the parliamentary agenda, stressing the point is not the suit, Turkish Gazeteport website reports. “The premier has mansions with pools, he goes on holiday with his family by private planes and his children graduated from the best educational institutions. Interestingly, when Erdogan was not in office, he did not enjoy such life,” Turkish MP stressed.
The parliamentarian said he had sent a written appeal to the Turkish MP, raising the following questions: “Is it true Pierre Cardin sends you 3-4 suits? Is this a personal gift to you? If it is so, does this conform to ethical rules? Where did you get funds to buy these suits?”
