YEREVAN. – Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire at Chorotan village of Armenia’s Tavush Region early on Monday morning.

Talking to the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent, village mayor Varuzhan Naghmanyan said the adversary fired at villagers while they were working in their orchards.

“The villagers are working in vineyards. In the morning a vineyard was targeted by Azerbaijanis. They stopped firing after a response from our side. The villagers continued working, but the shooting began at around midday,” he said, adding that no casualties have been reported.
