During the program C'est au programme on France 2 TV Channel the French-Armenian singer Patrick Fiori told the story of his family, how they miraculously survived during the Genocide, French newspaper Voici reports.
“This is the story of my family and thus my story. I have survived the Genocide,” the singer said.
The ‘Notre Dame de Paris’ musical star presented the story of his family survival: “My father told that there was one family which was left in the village during the Armenian Genocide. The entire village was exterminated. And in that last house everyone was praying around the cauldron, since we were also to be murdered. But they had forgotten about us. They had forgotten only about our house – the house of the Shushayans,” Patrick Fiori said.
