YEREVAN. - Together with Bulgarians, Serbs and Greeks it will be easier for Armenia to stand up against Turkey’s Genocide denial policy, said Heritage fraction head Ruben Hakobyan  during his Parliamentary speech on Thursday.

“Unfortunately we must be realistic, since Turkey managed to prevent the unanimous struggle for justice by the countries which suffered from the policy of the Ottoman Empire. And, frankly speaking, we haven’t achieved any significant success individually,” the deputy said.

According to the MP, there are no hinders for this – especially for parliamentarians, whose freedom of maneuvers is much bigger in scope than that of the Government. "Thus, we can create the opportunities which can later be useful for the executive authorities. For this reason it is necessary to create a single coordination organ with such countries as Cyprus, Greece, Bulgaria and Sebia, who have themselves experienced the Turks’ policy. Struggling together will yield more significant results” Hakobyan noted.
