Armenian chess players Levon Aronian and Vladimir Hakobyan lost at the FIDE Grand Prix tournament in Jermuk. Aronian was defeated by Pavel Elyanov (Ukraine), whereas Vladimir Hakobyan lost to Sergey Karjakin.
Peter Leko is a leader. Vassily Ivanchuk and Rustam Kasmijanov take the second place with 4.5 points each. Aronian, Gelfand, Karjakin, Elyanov and Alexeev shared 4-8 places, while Hakobyan, Cheparinov and Kamsky occupy 11-13 places.
