Turkish minister for EU affairs Volkan Bozkir will attend the liturgy to be served in St. Mary Armenian Church of Istanbul on Friday.  

For the first time in 100 years participation on ministerial level will take place during an Armenian liturgy, the Turkish website Ohaber reports.

Turkish minister for EU affairs Volkan Bozkir will attend the “shared pain” liturgy to be served by the Armenian Patriarchate of Polis on Friday.

Istanbul churches did not join all Armenian churches of the world in 100 bell chime ceremony.
