An Armenia official delegation, led by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, is continuing its visit to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR).
The delegation on Saturday attended, in the NKR capital city of Stepanakert, the celebratory events devoted to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, and the 23rd anniversaries of the NKR Defense Army and the liberation of the NKR City of Shushi.
Abrahamyan was joined by incumbent NKR President Bako Sahakyan, and NKR former Presidents Robert Kocharyan—who was also second President of Armenia—and Arkadi Ghukasyan.
First, the event participants marched to the Stepanakert Memorial, where they laid wreaths and placed flowers to the monument eternalizing the memory of the Armenian soldiers who fell during the Great Patriotic War and the liberation of Shushi.
Next, a military parade was held at the city memorial.
Subsequently, the PM of Armenia paid a visit to the cemetery of the Armenian soldiers who died in the Karabakh War, and he put flowers on their graves and paid tribute to their memory.
