YEREVAN. – The Armenian subdivision engaged in checking the readiness of CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Force arrived at the site of deployment in Tajikistan.

Issues related to the military drills, combat training tasks were discussed during the commanders of the detachments from Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha visited the military range on Friday. He praised the readiness of the detachments participating in a surprise inspection.

The surprise inspection involves more than 2,500 troops, 200 military vehicles, two dozen combat aircraft and helicopters.
