Armenia’s Syunik region governor Surik Khachatryan, against whom an alleged assassination attempt was made on Wednesday evening, said he ‘doesn’t suspect anyone’ and ‘everything is OK with him’.

The governor told Armenian News – NEWS.am that on his way to Kapan from Goris city, someone hiding in the forest fired in the direction of his car. The governor’s driver was at the wheel. No one was injured.

Whether the car has been damaged is not known yet.

The Khacatryan family are notorious for many scandalous stories.
