YEREVAN. - Details of Karabakh conflict normalization must be resolved with the participation of Stepanakert, Artak Zakaryan, Armenian Parliament’s Foreign Relations Committee Chairman, told Armenian News – NEWS.am on Thursday.

According to him, Armenia welcomes the readiness of the third countries to support the negotiation process conducted in the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group. It’s also thanks to this that the negotiation process remains within the discussions on peaceful settlement for nearly 20 years, he said. 

Together with this it’s necessary to contribute to the efforts on bringing Azerbaijan to the negotiation process and not support the attempts of that country to fail the achievements of the negotiations every time, Sakaryan said.

“Armenia remains the guarantor of the implementation of the right of the Nagorno-Karabakh citizens to self-determination. The rest of the numerous questions must certainly be resolved in Stepanakert given its agreement. It is for this very reason that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs visit Stepanakert during their visit to the region,
Zakaryan said.
