At the invitation of Director-General José Graziano da Silva of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the Minister of Agriculture of Armenia, Sergo Karapetyan, on Friday traveled to Italy on a working visit.

In Rome, the minister will participate in the FAO conference to be convened from June 6 to 8.

Karapetyan, within the framework of his visit, is also scheduled to meet separately with the FAO leadership and several other officials.
