YEREVAN. - At the working meeting on the support to the Syrian Armenian children and socially vulnerable families held at capital city Yerevan Municipality, the Head of the Social Security Department reported that corresponding support had been provided to overall 700 Syrian Armenian families.   

It was also reported that the program on the support to the homeless is underway. During the first five months of the year, 73 homeless people have been removed to dwellings.

The Mayor instructed to continue the work in the aforementioned two directions and activate them to the extent possible. 

It was also instructed to take corresponding measures with regard to Yerevan-based socially vulnerable children to organize their summer rest in sport and recreation camps in 3 shifts, according to the Armenia government program. The responsible persons have been ordered to visit the camps and familiarize themselves on the ground with the conditions of organizing children’s rest.
