Armenian Uber driver Artak Avakian, 23, was arrested after police reportedly found five guns, hundreds of prescription pills and around $20,000 in cash at his Glendale home, Glendale News-Press reports.

Earlier this month, Glendale police received a tip regarding a prescription drug dealer who worked out of home. While conducting surveillance, the detectives reportedly witnessed the man, later identified as Artak Avakian, conducting a drug transaction.

While searching his home, the detectives reportedly seized three rifles, a shotgun, a pistol, prescription pills, ecstasy pills, cocaine and other drugs, along with a digital scale, cash and a mobile phone with text messages concerning drug sales.

Avakian was released on bail and is due in court in November.

He is suspected of using the position as a cover to sell drugs.
