YEREVAN. – A building in Downtown Yerevan stands out and creates a European aura in the capital city of Armenia.
The external walls of the first three stories of this building are covered with flowers.
This is a pilot project by the Green Lad company, and it was carried out by the order placed by a design company that operates in this building.
The deputy director of Green Lad, Tigran Gharajyan, told Armenian News-NEWS.am that they have installed approximately 2,500 flowerpots on the exterior walls of several apartments of this building.
The flowers are watered by an automatic irrigation system, and at night, they are illuminated by colored lights.
Gharajyan added that even though these flowers will wither in autumn, they plan to plant new—and perhaps winter-surviving—flowers next spring.
