YEREVAN. – Implementation of the Armenian-Turkish reconciliation project had to start in Turkey, but the current situation in the country did not permit to do it, director of regional office of DVV International Mattias Klingenberg said in Yerevan.

“Acting Together” project consists of five elements, among them an archive exposition of objects brought from the settlements that the participants have visited. Two writers from Armenia and Turkey are making notes during their tour that will be a background for a book. The third component is public events, the fourth is a roadmap containing materials on the meeting. And the last component is history: participants meet people and ask to share their family stories.

The project started in Armenia on September 13 and lasted till September 22.

“Acting Together” project is funded by the Foreign Ministry of Germany and is targeted at building bridges between the citizens of Armenia and Turkey.
