Spokesperson for Russian leader Vladimir Putin confirmed the planned meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama, Gazeta reported.
The talks will take place on September 28 on the margins of the UN General Assembly, Dmitry Peskov said.
The spokesperson also said that Putin will hold talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
