The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair James Warlick has responded to today’s shelling by the Azerbaijani side at the Armenian villages. 

“The Co-Chairs are in touch with officials in Armenia and Azerbaijan about renewed violence urging an end to attacks and reprisals,” Warlick wrote on his Twitter page.

Azerbaijan opened fire at the border villages of Tavush province today, as a result of which 3 civilians were killed and 4 were injured in Paravakar and Berdavan villages.

Armenia’s Defense Ministry announced that it will take adequate measures against Azerbaijan to stabilize the situation on the border.
