Armenian-Russian businessman Roman Sarkisov may assume the office of the Director Genral of the Russian Media Group (RMG) which owns “Russian Radio,” “Hit FM” and other radio stations, since October 1 following the dismissal of the Director General Sergey Arkhipov who worked for less than two months, RBK reports. The source close to the holding told the aforementioned to the newspaper.

IFD Kapital Group, who owns 78% of RMG’s shares, declined to comment on this information. The source in the company says that no official appointments have yet been made. RMG press-service confirms this information.

Sergey Kozhevnikov, owner of RMG’s another 22% shares, and Sarkisov himself don’t answer the calls.

Roman Sargisov headed Channel 2 x 2 since 2008. In 2009-2012 he was the CEO of MTV Russia. In 2013, he started working in CTC Media, where he launched the СТС Love channel. In September 2014, he was appointed Director General of “Red Square” LLC, the chief content producer of Russia’s “First Channel,” but already in February assumed the position of its CEO.
