YEREVAN. – A convict committed suicide at Nubarashen Psychiatric Clinic in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, on Friday evening. 

Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned that prisoner Karapet Karapetyan, 36, who was under treatment and incarcerated on charges of murder, was found hanged by a sheet in the clinic.

Karapetyan was jailed several months ago for killing his brother.

A forensic autopsy is commissioned, and an investigation is launched.
