Prior to the march, Head of the “United Opposition Headquarters” Jirayr Sefilian ordered to install a tent in the square. The police took away the tents, this ending up with a scuffle between the police and the protestors.

The protestors aren’t informing about the route of the march and are at the moment walking across the central Mashtots Avenue, as reported by Armenian News - NEWS.am correspondent.

Yerevan Deputy Chief of Police Valeri Osipyan, who controlled the actions of the police, told the organizers that the failure to notify about the route beforehand is a violation of law.
