YEREVAN. – An Armenian capital city Yerevan court rejected the petition by Aram Grigoryan—who is charged with running over and killing Turkish journalist Gaye Coşar with his car in Downtown Yerevan—with respect to conducting a second expert study.

Grigoryan himself told the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Aram Grigoryan does not agree with the expert study results, according to which he could have seen the young woman lying on the street from 28 meters, with the high beams of his vehicle.

He stated, however, that the low beams of his car were turned on, and therefore it was possible to see only the nearest 10 meters.

The next court hearing is scheduled for February 5.

Turkish journalist Gaye Coşar had died as a result of the aforesaid traffic accident on January 7, 2015.

Coşar was working in Yerevan within the framework of an Armenian-Turkish project.
