The Erebuni Russian military airbase in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, has received four Mikoyan MiG-29 and one MiG-29C jet fighter aircrafts as well as a Mil Mi-8MT transport helicopter.
The jet fighters and the helicopter will be assembled and will join the Russian air force in Armenia in the near future, informed the press service of the Southern Military Okrug (district) of the Russian Armed Forces.
At present, there are nine MiG-29s in the Erebuni airbase.
