On September 23, at 03:00 a road accident occurred at the junction of Abovyan and Koryun streets in Yerevan (photos). Two people were hospitalized as Volkswagen and Chrysler collided.

According to the witnesses, the Volkswagen had governmental license plates, but they had been removed by unidentified people, before the traffic police arrived, photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informed NEWS.am.

An operational investigative group was at work in the emergency site.

Accidents causes are being clarified.
