YEREVAN. - If the Armenian authorities want the society to confide in the electoral process, let them publish the post-election voter lists.  

Secretary of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) faction, Aram Manukyan, said the aforementioned in the parliament on Saturday at the 4+4+4 format discussion of the draft Electoral Code of Armenia (4 representatives from authorities, opposition and civil society). 

The issue is apparently not as much in the legal framework as in the public one. There are dozens of countries, where these lists aren’t published. But the issue here is not so much for lawyers as for ordinary people.

If everyone is able to check their and their relatives’ surnames in the list and make sure that nobody has voted for them, the confidence towards the elections will significantly grow, Manukyan stressed.
