YEREVAN. - The Electoral Code can provide for an opportunity to electronically check the fact of one’s own voting.

Chief of Armenian Government Staff - Minister Davit Harutyunyan stated the aforementioned in the parliament on Saturday at the 4+4+4 format discussion of the draft Electoral Code of Armenia (4 representatives from authorities, opposition and civil society). 

The citizens will be able to enter their ID card PIN code in a corresponding portal and see whether someone else has voted instead of them.  

In response to this, the Armenian National Congress (ANC) faction secretary Aram Manukyan noted that this is not at all essential for everyone. Those who haven’t lived in Armenia for 20 years are unlikely to worry about the justice of elections in the country, he said.
