YEREVAN. – The product, which was exported the most from Armenia in the year past, was copper concentrate.
The aforesaid is noted in the statistics on the country’s foreign trade, and which the State Revenue Committee has issued.
To compensate for the fall in copper prices, the mining installations in Armenia increased the copper concentrate production and exports.
And the largest buyers of these copper concentrates are China (44%), Bulgaria (25%), Georgia (14%), and Romania (12%).
The supplies to Georgia, however, are re-exportation because copper concentrate is not processed there.
