New contacts at the level of the FMs of Armenia and Russia, and on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, will soon be announced.

Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) official representative Maria Zakharova informed the aforementioned, according to RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.  

“The contacts don’t stop. I believe we will be able to announce another one [of these contacts] in the near future, today [i.e. Tuesday], in a few hours,” Zakharova told reporters in Moscow. “At the level of FMs.”

She clarified that this “contact” refers to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov’s planned visit to Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, toward the end of the week.
