On April 23 in Paris the ANACRA (The National Association of Resistance Movement Participants)hosted an event dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire and to the Armenians who had sacrificed their lives for France during the world wars , reports Nouvelles d'Arménie.
The French gendarmerie ensemble, scouts, the Armenian Ambassador to France Vigen Chitechyan, the head of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Vahan Hovhannisyan , the co-chairs of the Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations of France Ara Toronyan and Mourad Papazian, together with members of the ANACRA walked from Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe where they laid flowers next to the eternal fire.
