On the 90th anniversary of the capture of Tuzluja region in Igdir province from Armenians, the Mayor of Tuzluga city came to the zero point at the Armenia-Turkish border, released doves and threw pinks into the Araks River.

The Mayor said Armenian and Turkish people used to live peacefully. However today, the Armenian Diaspora wishes to estrange these two nations and provoke hostility between them. According to him, the Turkish side is for peace and friendship with Armenia.

“As sign of maintaining peace in all the continents, I release these doves and throw these pinks into the river for implementation of joint activities, aimed at developing social, cultural, economical, fraternal and friendly relations with our Armenian neighbors on the other bank of the Araks River,” the mayor said.
