Azerbaijan-based ANS television had its license annulled after showing an interview of Fethullah Gulen.

The national council on television and radio broadcasting asked the court to annul the license of the ANS television.

On Monday the broadcasting of the TV channel was stopped in order to prevent airing of an interview with Gulen, a Turkish cleric who is accused by the Turkish authorities of staging a failed coup.
