The executive secretary of the REAL movement Natig Jafarli was arrested on Friday. Jafarli was arrested for 4 months with a decision of the Nasimi District Court, APA reports. 

He is accused of illegal business, embezzlement and tax evasion.

On Friday, Jafarli was invited to the Investigation Department for Serious Crimes of the Prosecutor General’s Office. Then he was taken to court, where a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen against him for a period of 4 months.

Jafarli’s attorney Javad Javadov told APA that the court’s decision on choosing arrest as a preventive measure against his client will be appealed.
