The opposition National Council of Azerbaijan is holding a rally Saturday, in capital city Baku.
Police are not obstructing the people, and are permitting them to assemble at the site of this public meeting, reported Haqqin.az news agency of Azerbaijan.
Those coming to the rally, however, are allowed into the respective square only after minor inspections with metal detectors.
It is noted that the Baku authorities have given their consent to the holding of this public assembly.
