The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the head of EU diplomacy Federica Mogerini has discussed the Syrian crisis. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry's press service, the parties agreed that efforts aimed at resolving the crisis in Syria -  assurance of cease-fire, expansion of access to humanitarian assistance, beginning of political processes -  need to be implemented in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions, without any unilateral preconditions and any attempts of prevalence in any of the spheres.
