YEREVAN. - One of the wounded passengers of the North Ossetia bus crash, 20-year-old Hrayr Bejanyan, was shocked after the collision.   

The young man with bandaged head, who had just come down the ramp, told Armenian News – NEWS.am that he felt a blow, after which he touched his head and realized he was bleeding.   

“We broke the window, got out of the bus and began helping other passengers,” he said.

Hrayr Bejanyan was on vacation in Russia after army demobilization. He is a participant of the April War and served in Talish village of Nagorno-Karabakh

As reported earlier, a passenger bus, which was heading from Moscow to Yerevan, collided with a truck, on Friday at around 4:30am, on the Vladikavkaz-Beslan bypass. As a result, five people, including the bus driver were killed, and another 27 sustained injuries.

26 passengers, who suffered injuries as a result of the bus crash, were transported to Armenia by the plane of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry. The body of the dead Armenian citizen Yura Poghosyan also arrived by the same plane.
